By far the weakest entry in the series. It is very obvious who shot it. John Woo's inimitable staging is full of slow-mos and exaggerated over-the-top action (and of course doves). The whole thing culminates in the last 30 minutes, which are so exaggerated that it shook me with laughter. Unfortunately, this is countered by a completely ironic-free, ridiculous story with an extremely cheesy relationship between Tom Cruise and Thandie Newton. The worst thing about the film, however, is the unbearable image of women that it propagates.
