Calibre has the german subtitle Weidmannsunheil, which means something like mischief hunting. This fits quite well.
The innocent hunting trip of two school friends in the scottish woods is overshadowed by a tragic accident and a crime. In order to get out of the matter unscathed, the two are forced to exceed limits. I would not like to reveal more about the story. The film is tense and lives from the fact that one wants to know whether they succeed in surviving the story unscathed. The situation is getting more and more precarious from minute to minute, but always remains within a realistic framework, so that one is not torn out. Small, fine film.
