Two talented young people meet each other in Los Angeles & fall hopelessly in love while trying to build & navigate both budding careers, Sebastian is a pianist while Mia is an actress. Director Damien Chazelle creates this overload to the senses with a plethora of vibrant color palettes accompanied with a beautiful musical score. A musical that didn’t fully feel like a musical with a rock solid plot with romance at its core. Not usually the type of film i get into but i could not ignore the allure each & every scene brought to my senses. It really gives you that old school feel cinemas seem to lack these days.
