Am I the last person in the world to watch this? Probably. And you know what? I enjoyed it more than I thought I would, it's a pretty fun movie! Considering that I'm not a big Spider-Man fan to begin with (he's easily one of my least favorite superheroes), it's actually impressive how engaged I was throughout this, and most of that is due to how awesome the animation style is. I loved the way different influences and elements were combined. Things got a little too chaotic for my taste on occasion, but it's part of the high-energy style they're going for, so I can't really fault the filmmakers too much for this, it's a me problem. Overall it's a memorable, vibrant, cohesive animated film with a clear vision, and I completely understand why so many people love it. Also, not going to lie, Nicolas Cage as Spider-Man Noir was potentially my favorite part ))
