Studio Ghibli once again stands out through its magnificent ability to portray human reality in a stunning way, in the midst of fantastic elements that never properly steal the scene and become the focus of the plot being there only to highlight the story and give a pinch magic not a little different from ours.
Kiki's is a powerful portrait of adolescence and our vision for the character to explore this time of life full of discoveries and challenges, such as: the moment when she leaves her family to look for a job, a place to live and to suit the people around you, romantic feelings for someone else, independence, in addition to the raw desire to want to belong somewhere and be accepted.
They're common issues in youth, and are present in a special way making her a relatable character with whom we care, bringing a certain nostalgia into our memory.
