I truly had no real hope in this one, Pixar being pretty hit or miss of late especially when it comes to doing sequels and spin offs.
But I’m very glad to report this is actually a pretty sweet time, and even better I’m stoked to say that while I normally don’t love Maya Hawke, she’s perfect here.
Some of the additional characters don’t do a lot, and there’s a bit of a feeling of ‘a hat on a hat’ with some of the emotion ideas, but it’s a real solid time that manages to prove its existence.
