Look, hear me out. I've played every Borderlands game and I honestly can't imagine a better film version of the series. For the first time ever, I actually understand the relationships between all the characters in the lore.
Now, is it good? Not really.... but it's also not the worst thing I've seen. It's about what I would expect for a PG13 rendition of a looter shooter video game.
It knows what it is and tries to sell it as well as it can.
Will I ever watch it again? Nah. But also, if someone wanted to watch it, I wouldn't leave the party, you know? This isn't anywhere near Army of the Dead or Movie 43 bad. It's fine.
