the homeless rockstar of palo alto’s review published on Letterboxd:
I love you this much.
Here it is. The feature film debut from yours truly and my friends Kirk and Victor. We worked very hard on this.
I love my friends and I love movies. I wanted people to have a special and unique experience watching a movie while having fun with their friends, whether you’re a cinephile or not. I think indie features lack a certain flavour of fun and I hope whoever decides to watch this will smile and hug their friends.
This is a follow up to Hi, Lad! that is moreso just for cinephiles. I recommend checking that out first (as well as Hi, Mom!) but it isn’t totally necessary.
I love my lads and am grateful I got to share this journey with them and everyone who helped us and supported us. We love you all. We are driven by love - For people (whether you’re a bum or not) and for movies (whether they suck or not).
If you want to make a movie just do it… but make it fun ;)
