I don’t know which moron decided to dump this on Hulu, but they were wrong. This movie fucking rips and should’ve been a theater release. The opening 15 minutes alone are unbearably tense and flawlessly executed. It can’t keep it up, and the story gets a bit wobbly and repetitive in the latter third, but not enough to keep me from loving this. And wow, Kaitlyn Dever gives a fantastic, physical performance on par with the best in the horror pantheon.
