I have always found Stoker's story a bit lacking, at least on screen (never read the book), but Coppola's adaptation does so well to make the story into visual feast and engaging horror-drama. The visual effects alone are fantastic, and I like how Coppola leans into the tragic romance at the heart of the story. And my god, the score. The opening prologue might be one of my favorite openers of all time.
