Movie Good or Movie Bad?’s review published on Letterboxd:
The Marvels was may more fun than I expected and a lot of that comes from our dynamic cast, with Iman Vellani bringing the heart and charm, Nia DaCosta bringing much needed directorial vision to the MCU, and really fun fight choreography due to the shenanigans of the body swapping. There are bits of the script that feel thinly written, the villain here is among one of Marvel’s weakest, and the editing feels like the biggest enemy here because despite how entertaining the film is, it feels like huge chunks of the finale are missing. Maybe my standards have dropped a lot, I don’t know, but this was a fun time for me.
