welcome back ridley scott! this was absolute quality. It has its flaws (mainly I’m not a fan of CGI but I guess it couldn’t be avoided) but the action, score, and performances were all fantastic. hardly recognised joseph quinn as the joffrey baratheon lookalike. paul mescal has proven that he can do more than just the typical “sad boy” role and my mum is now a huge fan! it’s grandiose, brutal, and entertaining with a strong emotional core. one to watch on the big screen!
