It was honestly such a breath of fresh air to see Ryan Gosling in a movie like this. Most of the movies I’ve seen him in have been pretty serious for the most part or at the very least he plays a more serious character. This film is absolutely hilarious and I think I would still like a movie with this same story without the comedy so that was a very big added bonus. Seeing Ryan Gosling making all of these jokes and actually screaming in terror was so funny to me. The two leads have fantastic chemistry and the Holly character also added some more fun to the mixture. I really like crime mystery type stories and the fact that this one is so funny makes it probably one of my favorite ones that I’ve seen.
