This is such a weird movie and I love it. Stories like this where there a bunch of interconnected stories happening at once are always so entertaining to me. Every character is given enough attention to make them all compelling and the more you find out about them the more you realize that they are a bunch of terrible people. They haven’t done anything too bad, but the way they treat the other people in their life is not good at all. Brad Pitt is such a standout here and it’s a shame we didn’t get to see more of him. I’d love to see him in more comedic roles like this one because he’s such a great actor and can totally pull it off. There were a lot of funny moments in this movie just because of the situations the characters found themselves in and there’s so many lines that aren’t actually jokes but in the context of the movie they are absolutely hilarious. The only thing I didn’t like about this movie was the very end. I liked how they had J K Simmons reacting to things after they happened, but I feel like the ending was brushed under the rug way too quickly. If there would’ve been like 10 minutes more with some more closure on the characters we had left it would’ve been a lot more satisfying. Still a great movie though and I’d definitely recommend it.
