truly a masterpiece wow. maria falconetti is incredible and i wish i could watch more of her. she has such a brilliant face and she conveys so many emotions. love the score. the whole thing is so intimate with close shots of her face. i really feel for her. once her death is a sure thing the tone really takes a darker turn. just absolutely astonishing.
a few days ago i came across the gerard way joan of arc outfit again and something clicked inside of me. immediately obsessed. already bought 2 joan of arc medals on etsy before even watching this. i think a huge influence on this was a nightmare i had the other night and to sum up the last bit i floated out of my body into an empty plain off white room and it felt so peaceful but i knew, whether instinctively or through someone speaking to me, that if i stayed there i would be trapped forever. and it didn’t feel like it meant only in my dream. so i woke myself up. have been up at 3am the past 2 nights too so this odd sleep schedule makes me feel super tired & out of touch with reality. a brilliant state to watch this in. i think god was talking to me in my dream. he warned me. anyway im going to look at joan of arc pictures on pinterest now. love this movie i get her.
