seeing vids of gerard with those white eye contacts brought me back into this deep and dark mcr hole. i wish i could remember exactly how i found mcr in october of 2020 but in august i listened to blood a lottttt so i was a bit familiar but something in october just clicked and i was obsessed. i was doing online class for grade 11 and i had lost touch with all of my twitter friends and i was so alone there was nothing keeping me going until them… watching behind the scenes and interviews and music videos in between and during class was what kept me going. i just turned 16. i spent all day every day in my room. life was hopeless. and i’m at another point in my life where ive lost touch with my irl friends and ive moved out alone for the school year and im sad and lonely all the time so what a way to end this semester. there is so much to say about my chemical romance. feelings aside i just love everything they do visually. like their outfits and makeup are exactly my taste and gerard’s recent tour outfits make me insane. the first day of moving to toronto happened to fall on their tour date so i was too busy to go. i’m so upset almost everything was lined up but i didnt make the effort. i’ll always mourn that. im scared i wont ever catch them again. but another thing is they never play early sunsets over monroeville which is my favourite song EVER and i have the opening line tattooed on my arm and i will never hear it live!!!!!! but wow in the past 2.5 years i owe so much to them especially how many times ive listened to famous last words to not kill myself lol. and the same thing happened when i watched beastie boys story but for mcr i already knew most of this but i feel like i know them almost. the connection is so much stronger. idk why i havent watched this yet. i wish i was alive for all of that. its the most me thing out there. i really wish i had some sort of talent like they all do with music but especially gerard and drawing and singing it makes me so sad that i dont have anything yet and even if i did its not like i could drop everything to pursue it these days. my dad also likes drawing and music but he never did anything with it and he’s miserable all of the time with his job and his life and i wish i could go back in time to give him an opportunity to do something with it. the part with gerard’s addiction is so sad i hate seeing people like that i felt the same watching steveo rise and demise like that hit. idk. i really admire the work they put into this and they’ll always be there for me when i need a hand to help pull me out of this hole i always find myself in.
