I had a plan to rewatch this film since a long time, and I finally did after 5 years!
Although I am not a fan of the commentary or message of this film but I admire the way Bong Joon Ho made this film so much convincing, the presentation of Poverty is Outstandingly Real, my favourite moment is how the Rich and the Poor see a natural phenomenon of Rain so much differently just because of their financial conditions, for one it becomes a nice joyful moment when they'll throw a Party and for the other it becomes a disastrous moment because their house is filled with the rain!

]]>An Absolute Carnage 💥
But is it better than Animal or Kill? I'd say both Yes & No!
Yes because: this film has better Action choreography than Animal & it also provides alot of background in comparison to Kill
No because: Animal comparatively has more Character development and Depth than Marco, & Kill is more action oriented and Thrilling compared to this one!
Although the Stylized approach and Cold blooded tone really works in favour of this film and GORE is definitely a Special highlight of Marco!
Although I don't want other films to compete it in terms of GORE because this is already Too Much! 😵
]]>An Unconventionally Conventional Masterpiece by S. S. Rajamouli 🤌🪰

]]>Ripley has to be the best female character I've seen in a Horror/Sci-Fi/Fiction Film 🗿
]]>Simply Brilliant! Bigger & Better than its predecessor, this has to be my most Favourite James Cameron film ❤️🔥
The High Octane Action & Chase Sequences, Iconic Characters & Moments, Extremely Creative Visuals, Everything was on point ⛓️🔥🤖
I won't say it's the Best from James Cameron because I haven't seen T2, but surely this is Much Superior than Avatar & Titanic!
I'll be Back!
Ravi Basrur when Prashanth Neel: I'm about to give the Audience a heavy dose of Adrenaline 👹🗿
Ravi Basrur when others: I'm about to give the Audience a heavy Migraine 😵🫨
Thank Bhagwan Shree Ram that I didn't wear headphones! 🎧
The first half was still tolerable, Kashmir part was well shot and all Action set pieces look very gorgeous except the final Battle, that is absolutely Worst! But the rest of the scenes atleast looks good visually
One of the narratives this Film's PR team was spreading was that *Arjun Kapoor gave a surprisingly Good Performance* Seriously!? All he did was give an Evil Smile & do a Serious expression after that!
The Screenplay is Below Average at Best, Deepika & Kareena give an absolutely cringe performance, Ajay, Akshay, Tiger just sleep walk for the most part😪, and Ranveer..... Well he tried, and his part was still okayish, Little bit fun i'd say
But Overall this turned out to be the Worst film of the year I have seen!
PS: Bollywood please Stay away from Ramayan 🙏

]]>Simmba is inspired by Temper by Puri Jagannath, I personally like this remake slightly more than the original because it just doesn't take everything from the original as it is but tries to do a Retelling of the story
(Though both on an individual level are very regular masala films)
This is one of Rohit Shetty's most Forgettable works ever, like I'd remember Cirkus for being absolutely Shit & Golmaal for being a Laugh Riot, but this is just..... Bland!!
]]>This was a good Masala Action film with lots of nice Heroic moments, Decent humor, action sequences that are silly yet fun to watch!
(Even after watching it after so many years it gave me a nice experience!)
The Glorious Debut of RGV!!! 💥
Imagine this being your Debut and then making a shitshows like (whatever movie with Mia Malkova), (whatever movie about Sunny Leone), (Sholay Remake), Rakht Charitra (idgaf it's a bad film).
Shiva is a Crime thriller which goes in a direction where most of the films from this genre should go Ideally! Because what good are you doing to the society by making sympathy for Gangsters and Criminals who terrorize students and innocent public!? Although I also feel that we shouldn't take Films so seriously, but while watching this film I realised it's not necessary to glorify or justify a criminal by adding a sympathetic back story, it's not necessary to show your lead character smoke or drink!
Shiva is a Superhero in every sense (pun intended) who stands up as a Vigilante against Gangsters and Criminals!
This film has some very interesting and ambitiously shot action sequences,
What a Brilliant Peice of Art, Genuinely Loved this film 💙
Perfect watch on a Cold Freezing night 🥶
]]>Sometimes, you just don't think about right or wrong... Your senses go numb and your Temptation takes over! You Enjoy till the very End of it but the moment it's Over you start regretting your choices, You feel Ashamed and Disgusted about yourself!
I did not just describe how Mas***bation feels like, This was my F****ng experience of this movie 😩😩😩😩
WTF is this bro!! Allu Arjun's Debut in Bhojpuri Film Industry!!!!????
What happened to you Sukumar sir!!!!!?????
Except the Gangamma jathra scene and the final minutes everything is just......
Trivikram the GOAT 🛐
ATHADU Walked.... So that JULAYI could Run!!!!🔥
I feel no hesitation in saying that the assassination sequence of this film is 2x better than The whole Killer Movie!!!!
One of the Best from MB's filmography, each time I watch a Mahesh Babu film I feel more excited for Rajamouli X Babu 🤞
Only for S̶t̶y̶l̶i̶s̶h̶ S̶t̶a̶r̶ I̶c̶o̶n̶ S̶t̶a̶r̶ Actor ALLU ARJUN! 🗿
I had Vedam on my watchlist for quite a few time and when I saw the Letterboxd rating it was comparatively very higher than alot of Telugu films I Love, and now after watching it I felt disappointed because I've seen better telugu films than this!
the Islamophobia story with Manoj Bajpayee was very monotonous and lacked Nuances though later it played a big role in the climax, it lacked the impact
The Escort story with Anushka Shetty and Rockstar story with Manchu Manoj were okayish,
The main story with Allu Arjun, the Kidney story and the Climax were actually good and had some Emotional impact,
Loved all the Performances, but some things could've been avoided or presented in a better way!
I found this one to be OVERRATED af!!!
Another Banger from Trivikram garu! 🔥
The Opening scene itself felt like a climax💥 and it established that NTR is gonna fucking EAT in this Movie 🐯
The theme of revenge and generational rivalry is very common in Telugu films yet it was so greatly well executed it didn't feel repetitive, the way it explores it's character's emotions and philosophy is beautiful💖
Though I did not feel very engaged in the comedy scenes which I was expecting to be good but they were very bland and disappointing 🤧 and Aravinda's character also didn't leave the impact it should've!
Overall the Drama and Action delivered pretty well 💯
A beutiful story of Freedom and Escapism! It was not just Rapunzel escaping that Tower or Gothel, it was the fear of losing her long hair, the insecurity of losing her beauty which she escaped! And Cherished Pure LOVE and Passion!
Gothel did not want to accept the fact that every human has to age and after a certain point we lose that 'Attractiveness', her Character represents that Insecurity, and she dies Only when Eugene cuts Rapunzel's hair, Truly Liberating her from everything that holded her back, that's the message! We are truly Liberated when we leave our fears, insecurities, anxieties behind!
For its Philosophical point of view, I absolutely love this film, it presents all of it very beautifully!
Experience wise it was brilliant too, but the 3rd act felt a little bit rushed!
This one feels very much inspired by the Classic Drishyam,
But does that stop it from being a Brilliant Cinematic Experience? Hell No!!
Alot of people would praise it for it's smart writing style and the twist, but it's beauty is not limited to that, from the beginning itself I felt glued to it's feel, I felt sort of a tranquility because of the music and Cinematography!
The 2013 Evil Dead felt raw and terrific with lots of creepy and disgusting moments which provide great shock value and a crisp experience with it's short run time,
Whereas this one felt too polished and had almost no shock value!
They were experimental with camera angles and some scenes were very creative but failed to create an impact (on me)
Though in this one, it was a very sensitive situation because 2 teens, one child and a Pregnant woman were being attacked but I didn't feel any Tension or Thrill despite adding all this
The Chainsaw scene was great tho.

]]>Korean Mass Don-Lee supremacy!! 🛐
His films never feel unfamiliar or Foreign to me! An Indian viewer would relate with this film as much as a Korean viewer
The Drama is engaging and the Action sequences are realistic yet stylish
Ma-Dong-Seok's Aura is Worth Celebrating 💫
Can't wait for him to share screen with our Rebel Star Prabhas!
The Sea is blue but it's His Red Sea,
All Hail.... Anirudh Ravichander!
Anirudh seriously deserves praise for making these half-cooked half-burnt dishes eatable!
Director Kortala Siva had a nice idea of making a Testosterone boosting, Hyper Masculine Action Extravaganza showcasing a World of Alpha Males like 300, Black Panther and ofcourse Baahubali
And would also have a brief commentary on Toxic and Healthy Masculinity
I am always excited for such type of films but sadly this film was unable to make me feel that Energy!
]]>Subject 🗿
Cinematography 🗿
Background Score 🗿
Performances 🗿
They took 3 extremely relevant subjects (women safety, fake encounters, Commodification of Education) which are not very much related but they tried to tie them together, it felt a little exaggerated but I do not have an issue with Vilifying those who Commercialize Education,
What I absolutely loved were the Stunning Cinematic Shots, integration of these subjects into a Mass Entertaining Film properly, and the Presentation of Female Characters! They have written the Women in such a way they felt Dignified, Independent and Respectful,
Also liked the Chemistry of Thalaivar with both Bachhan sir and FaFa.

]]>This is a Perfect Diwali watch!
A Finely Crafted (Mass)terpiece in a true sense!!
I thought alot about giving this a 5/5 rating, because I give this rating only when a film gives me a great lesson (which I can adapt in my life) or hits me with particular emotions in the most Impactful way, and this is just a Well Made Action film so should I rate it this high?
Absolutely I should! Because if a film is able to give me such a Strong Hit of Adrenaline Rush, doesn't matter how many fucking times I watch it, definitely I Should!
This One will always be close to my Heart, This is a Fucking Gem!!!
Thank you Lokesh Kanagaraj you are a Gift to Indian Cinema.
DC could never!!!!!
(Excluding TDK Trilogy ofc)
This is not a Movie, this is a fucking Rave Party 🪩

Broken Artists self empathize in the most dramatic way possible.
]]>So let's clear one thing first, this is NOT a Horror Comedy film, it's a Super Natural Action Comedy which is all about creating Mass moments in a world of spirits, monsters, and super natural Creatures!
Now in that set up it is successful in entertaining the audience well but I have some problems with the Narrative,
Sarkata is the symbol of Patriarchy and Targets 'Progressive Women', Now this was a nice theme to add in the film but atleast show it with some sincerity! The Symbols of Progressiveness: the character who gets kidnapped in the first scene was shown Smoking, Tamannah's character dances on 'Aaj ki Raat Maza Husn ka akhon se lijiye' basically Self Objectification!
Later she is also kidnapped, if they wanted to show Progressive Women there are tons of other things that could've been shown but they chose the most irrelevant examples!
They could've simply shown a girl who is doing some kind of business or is a breadwinner of her family,
Anyways it was one thing I didn't like other than that I had fun with this film, and it's nice to see a film like this becoming a Major Blockbuster
I hope they make even better films in future with this Super Natural Comedy Universe
Looking forward for Thamba (Vampires of Vijaynagar)...
(Re-Watch before the Sequel)
This was a very fresh and entertaining take on Horror Comedy genre back then and the humour still holds strong for me, some films are all time bangers and Stree is one of them!

]]>I don't care what others say, I enjoyed this movie!
Some Action set pieces and chase sequences are really praise worthy and Vijay's acting in emotional scenes was too good!
It may not be the best, but it's a fun watch!
An intense and disgusting Body horror with the message of 'we should be happy with our body and should accept it as it is' though it has some really beautifully Ugly scenes and message is also good, it could've been a little shorter.
]]>A great blend of psychological and paranormal horror, which shocks and disturbs the viewers.
It's so much better than Midsommar!!
