I kept being reminded of nature documentaries watching this - I don’t know much about their production, but I’d be willing to bet that they watched a good amount of nature documentaries especially to be able to capture the vast animal movements through the terrain. And the films’ gorgeous brushstroke artistic style only serves the vast amount of large scale motion it shows.
Lovely! Who knew such a popular kids picture book was about the trials and tribulations of becoming an adoptive mother within a capitalist eco-apocalyptic hellscape of a world!,, I really promise it is lovely!
