To my brother George, the richest man in town
It’s hard to predict how a movie will affect you even after hearing so many testaments to its greatness. Almost everyone has heard of the Frank Capra classic It’s a Wonderful Life, and it’s perhaps Jimmy Stewart’s most notable role. Few movies have been able to properly show life’s greatness and meaning, and how you can make a difference. Seeing George make so many sacrifices in his own life for the wellbeing of others creates a richness that not even money could compare to. The simple yet complex idea that giving back to people makes a difference is profound and possibly one of life’s greatest treasures. I recommend that everyone should see this, it affected me in a way no other movie has.
