Darren Aronofsky is the depiction of addiction.
Almost all of his movies are based on some sort of addiction. Just like requiem for a dream is about addiction of drugs, Black Swan is about addiction of perfection, this dark thriller is all about addiction of knowledge.
And really, it was thrilling! Almost terrifying. Loved it.
