I really enjoyed it. It felt like never ending doom and panic. Really made you feel like any scene could go wrong at any moment. Nic cage is always so awesome to watch, especially when he plays an absolute freak like Longlegs. He really pulls off a lot of the lines that could lose a lot of impact and creepiness with someone else.
Maika Monroe is also great. Harker goes from detached to embroiled in all of the darkness, and Monroe captures that whole range very well. I do like that you can see it either way for the supernatural elements. Regardless its cool occult imagery and tone. The genre of agent in over their head trying to decode a serial killer is so awesome when done well. This one did well to infuse a lot of horror elements too. Well worth the wait!
