Fargeat creates one of the most hilarious and astonishing cinematographic experience of the year. Beautiful filmed under the influence of Kubrick, Gilliam, Aronofsky, De Palma, Cronenberg and Lynch. It's awesome how we started with a serious drama about the passage of the time in the female movie stars under a deeply misogyn structure, and turn to a body horror with hard scenes and finish with an hilarious explosion of violence. The deeply reflections about our inner desire and how these lead us to self-destruction makes this my favourite film of the year until now and makes fargeat one of the most interesting and talented filmmakers of the moment.
