Started off ok...
Pierce was pretty good. I guess I like him because he's quite close in style to Moore's Bond, complete with cheesy quips and funny fight noises. I never used to fancy him but I guess that has changed in my old age. I think he is the hottest Bond for me. I mean when he had his top off I was a bit like 'oh my' 🤣
Michelle Yeoh was also decent but she didn't really feel like a Bond girl to me. Too much of a bad ass, not a bad thing, she just didn't fit into the usual Bond girl mold. I was a bit disappointed when she gave in to his charms as I thought she might buck that trend.
I thought Teri Hatcher was rubbish and she had no chemistry whatsoever with Brosnan.
Jonathan Pryce was a pretty evil villain and did a good job. I liked his henchman Stamper (Götz Otto) the most.
I quite liked the premise of the plot and it had a lot of potential to be more interesting than it was.
Even though I didn't mind a lot of it I'm getting really quite bored of the Bond franchise now and it's becoming a chore.
I even fell asleep during the main chunk of action. That's how done I am.
Maybe my rating is a bit harsh but at this point in my Bond journey I'm beyond caring and I've enjoyed ones I've rated 6 a lot more.
