“I don’t have the programming to be a mother.” “No one does. We just make it up.”
A giant AI-powered robot (Roz) sharing an unexpected bond with an orphaned baby goose (Brightbill) along with a mischievous lonely fox (Fink), together their friendship awakens the entire forest. It’s amusing how Pedro Pascal remains so charming even as an animated fox—he basically voiced himself. I need Nick Wilde and Fink to meet. As Roz cares for the orphaned goose, she discovers her own capacity for love, leading her to reflect on the essence of motherhood despite her origins as an artificial being. An animated film that blends a range of emotions while still keeping you entertained. This is so highly, likely to get an Oscar nomination.
