this is eye candy in its purest form, a heady cinematic sugar rush, i'm in love! watching into the spider-verse feels like a homecoming (lol), because this is the level of wild creativity i always want from animated films –– it's imagination run amok, a berserk synesthetic wonderland thrill ride that you never want to end. it's so bloody loveable as well, the emotion poured into each voice hitting home in all the right parts in all the right ways. i feel a little like i dreamed into the spider-verse, because it's so much better than reality.
