THANK GOD letterboxd is finally working so i can put this review of my most anticipated movie of the year..
overall i’d say that it lives up to expectations
definitely not exactly the turn i expected as far as motives or connections
but nonetheless i think it’s pretty brilliant how well they’re able to keep you engaged with the story and our main character.
not going to spoil anything in this review but it’s a real head turner, some things and connections are not what you expect and you need to truly focus on what’s put in front of you because it’s there to help you understand.
the ending is pretty fucking dark ngl but almost amazing in that crazily sinister way that fucking lives with you.
also to top off one of the greatest marketing campaigns for a film ever? like seriously long legs gives you so much yet so little.
but to top it off, i thought performances were good across the board and nick cage has a blast as a total fucking freak.
