“Why did I agree to do this stupid song? I have a degree in chemical engineering?”
Okay so this has to be my second favourite films ever. I loved every second of it and I’m so glad cause I had been waiting on this coming on to Netflix for weeks.
So, naturally, I made a checklist on notes of the things I wanted to include in this review.
First and foremost, Miles’ jawline. That’s it. That’s the point.
Secondly, this film made me love Peter Parker even more. Again, that’s the point.
Third, visually this film is so pleasing to watch. The comic style was just perfect with the text and the little spidey sense squiggles I loved.
Fourth, of course is the music. Both the soundtrack and the score. The soundtrack had me jamming and the score had me hooked. The electronic feel was, of course, an obvious but nevertheless a perfect choice - I actually was gripped by the music. https://youtu.be/ozbKHKntpCc (video by Sideways on the soundtrack and score of this movie)
And finally, as someone who literally cannot sit and watch anything without getting distracted by something else or having the fidget, this film had me paying full attention. Like, completely.
