Kills was such a blast in theatres; to this day I’m an apologist for that movie. The reviews were even worse for Ends, and I hoped a theatrical experience might bolster my enjoyment like last time. Well, I didn’t see it in a theatre, but on Peacock at home. I don’t regret a thing though, because a theatre would not have made this more fun. Kills is non stop action made for an excited audience. Ends is defined by its undeniably bizarre focus on Corey and mishandling of characters, namely Allyson, who is written unbelievably. Nonetheless, I simply enjoyed Halloween Ends for what it was. It was never not intriguing.
