Immediately one of my favorites from the fest. Not only is the premise original and exceptionally creative, the execution absolutely does it justice. I won’t say too much, as discovering the premise is part of the fun, but it’s a wild ride that I wholeheartedly recommend. The way the film is edited is excellent, it really captures the ongoing frenzy perfectly. It’s super clever in style too, as some stylistic choices are used to inform the audience of certain information…and there’s a lot of shuffling information to keep track of, so it’s impressive how it weaves it all together.
Honestly it really sucks this is going straight to Netflix - it’s too smart and too much of a banger to be lost in all the content on their platform. This deserves a theatrical release.
