Absolute travesty. It's gonna get nominated for so many Oscars tho
So bad that I had to stop halfway through and watch Fantastic Mr Fox. As a trans gal myself, it's disappointing that this is the mainstream representation we're getting, this whole thing gave me second-hand embarrassment. It tries so hard to be this incredible, powerful, beautiful kind of movie, but ends up being a disrespectful, boring, and stale Oscar bait movie, so obviously made by a bunch of straight cis guys. The only things of value here are the stunning cinematography and Zoe's performance. Other than that, there's nothing here to waste your time on, just watch I Saw the TV Glow or Encanto and save yourself the headache.
