Disturbing and unsettling.
Like many others I was thrown by the ad campaign which I think has done it a great disservice. I don’t get the Silence of The Lambs comparisons at all, and those expecting something similar will be disappointed. On reflection, I’d say it’s more along the lines of a Session 9 / Exorcist III type supernatural thriller, and up there with both in terms of atmosphere and scares. Brilliant.
