It had been a few years since I first watched this movie & upon second viewing…
I needed to watch this movie now more than ever. It beautifully hits home on the idea that friends, family and the journey that is life is greater than any amount of money or success out there. Sometimes it is so easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of working towards goals. Worrying about the future instead of enjoying the moment has surely consumed my mind at times. During this rewatch, I kept thinking about how I personally fall victim to overthinking the aspects of my life that really aren’t all that important. At the end of the day, being happy & spending time with loved ones reigns supreme.
After a few years since first viewing, I appreciate this movie so much more now. How can you not tear up at the end? It’s a wonderful movie that truly pulled on my heartstrings!
