How do you showcase an event that is revered as a global tragedy yet a national success? By focusing on the man who made the tragedy possible and his lives trials and tribulations alongside his journey to succeed in ending a war. Nolan crafted an intricate puzzle of a man tortured by his life’s work and showing the repercussions of what it means to serve. It’s long, complicated, but engaging thanks to its already expected great script, direction, cinematography, and acting.
