Mother: Because you've been listening to the La La Land soundtrack quite a lot. You only listen to that when you're feeling down.

It's the little things that you don't think that anyone will notice... It's also the little things that probably only your mother will notice.
It's true. I mainly listen to this soundtrack when I'm feeling down or uninspired. You know what this movie and soundtrack feel like? You know that little pat on your back that your mother used to give you when you were crying and she was trying to reassure you that everything was going to be okay when you were little? This movie is that little pat for me.
