Scared the shit out of me when I first saw it. My friend Kevin dropped me off at home after the movie. I was still a bit stoned from our pre-picture bowl. My flatmates were out and it was after dark. Feeling tense, I turned on some lights and settled down to read in the main room.

Before long I needed to relieve my bladder. The bathroom was at the end of a short, shadowy hallway. To reach the toilet (and the light switch) I would need to pass through the darkness, past two half-open doors and a mirror.

I did not pee for a very long time.
