A very enticing film that drags on with dialogue after the midpoint but is ultimately kept engaging with Nolan’s unique story structure and visuals.
Though the film that is driven by dialogue, its greatest drawback is its editing thereof; the audio and ADR were out of sync in some places and, too often, shots and reverse-shots of conversations were cut so sharply that Oppenheimer could have used them to tear through uranium.
Edit: I thought about it some more and decided to give it another 1/2 star; again, it dragged on a bit for me after the film’s halfway point, but I still had a great time
