I was actively avoiding to watch this because romantic films are not always my thing neither are musicals but mostly because I knew how it ended and I thought that I was going to cry very hard which surprisingly didn't happen! It still was very cute and moving and I think that even though it could seem like a sad ending, it’s actually the opposite thing. I don’t believe in that “right person, wrong time” thing because we meet people in a time and place for a reason and sometimes that reason is simply to help us grow and become who we are today and that doesn’t make it less important. When the right person comes there are not going to be wrong times and just because you love someone very much doesn’t make them the right person either. I like the idea of letting things and people go and that doesn’t necessarily mean you don’t love them anymore or you don’t wish them well. They ended where they were supposed to be and both seemed really happy with their lives so at the end of the day it was the right decision, the only thing that is left is to be grateful for our past experiences and remember them with love.
And by the way, I love Emma Stone so much she was great!
