A train ride to the North Pole should’ve been way more fun and magical than this. While there is some fun to be had as our train dips and slides through a bumpy ride, the annoying children and horrifying CGI make the film more scary than Christmasy. With unlimited options as to what a magical train could do, there was a lack of creativity that kept this movie from reaching its potential. While my 2.5 year old nephew got a kick out of the train, this is not one I will go back to.
