One of the few truly excellent modern film musicals I've seen and it's pure fun personified. This film, although long, goes by really fast mainly thanks to the protagonists, which you connect to almost instantly. Ryan Golsing's performance exceeded my expectations and Emma Stone was equally excellent. In what is a simple story, you enjoy every moment with songs, from good to great, embedded in. But then you getting the ending 😢😢
