(This isn’t a rewatch just wanted to revisit and review it more seriously)
Everything about this film is perfect horror, it’s not the perfect movie but in terms of setting, dialect and sound This is what horror is about. Modern horror films normally lack everything other than blood but not this movie.
It has great acting, a great musical score, a harrowing plot and a great ending. Which has become a common theme with eggers and I hope it continues with the Northman and Nosferatu
