michael chaves did better here than in the other installments he’s directed in the franchise. but that’s not the strangest thing about it.
1) half movie past, a guy stands up walking strangely. he starts to down the stars twisting his body. my mom tells me that something weird is happening and she’s scared of him. the man takes long minutes to finish the stars.
2) a woman stars to down the stars right after this man disappears. and she’s not normal either. she downs step by step, stops, look around, step by step. minutes go by, the man is back, normally. she appears right after him. well…
3) in a scene, the characters are being chased by the devil and has a room full of cockroaches to hide. i asked my mom what would she prefer: “would you hide from the devil or would you run away from these insects?” she said it was a tough question 😭 she’s so me.
anyways, really liked final moments. i think the first one being really bad made this one a little better than it actually is. i just enjoyed 🤘
