This was definitely a creepy fucking movie. I thoroughly enjoyed the black and white contrast and can honestly say William Defoe and Robert Pattinsons performance in 'The Lighthouse' are extremely well done and seemed real at times. The score was creepy enough to make me wonder what was going to happen next and several scenes that did well at making me uncomfortable. I questioned several times which one of these fuckers were crazy, only to come to the realization that.. well they are both fucking nuts. The atmosphere of every single shot in the film constantly foreboding and uneasy.. I thought it was a great movie. I liked this one better than 'The Witch' and think Robert Eggers could continue to give viewers some really excellent content in the future.
