this was the movie that made me realize i wanted to become a cinematographer. the visuals struck me, i had never seen a film with such a beautiful aesthetic, every scene is like a treat to the eyes and each one gets better and better. especially that scene where that huge projection of JOI talks to K.i also fell in love with Denis Villeneuve’s style when i watched this, he has such a magical way of combining every technical aspect of filmmaking to create a grand and epic feel to his films. this was also the film that made me realize that Roger Deakins was a god.
