Probably the best action movie of all time, if we're being honest! It's a turbo-charged, nonstop onslaught of insanity, a movie with as much momentum as, well, a War Boy out for a bloodbag. "Who Killed The World?" asks a prominently-placed piece of graffiti, but the movie isn't interested in answering that question. When everything falls apart, all we can do is survive... no matter the cost.
George Miller directs this movie with a brilliant eye for imagery. Every shot is set up to maximize the amount of metal, machinery, and madness Miller can fit in the frame. Even the way the movie is color-graded just explodes off your LG OLED TV... these deep blues and rich oranges contrast perfectly, the world reduced to its elemental, primal parts.
