You could tell me you thought this was scarier and more effective than Halloween and I would respect it. It’s a really harrowing depiction of stalking - like, enormous trigger warning if you’ve ever experienced it - and Lauren Hutton gives an incredible performance at being at her absolute wit’s end by the climax of the whole ordeal. It’s a TV movie, but only feels like it once or twice. The music isn’t John’s and it’s very old-fashioned, but it works. And Adrienne Barbeau’s lesbian sidekick is just chef’s kiss (but you know what happens to gay characters in movies like this 😔). A banger but very much a feel-bad watch 🥴
