I can not emphasise enough the effect this movie had on depressed 16 year old me like this got me interested in film and the line ‘he’ll see my face and think of how he used to know me’ motivated me enough to apply for film courses without telling my parents like I owe so much to this beautiful, extravagant movie :,-)
