i am fully aware that this isn’t the best film ever made but holy shit it’s so special to me. i saw it when i think i was in the age range of like 12-14?? and it was so magical. i took everyone i knew to see it because it felt like something that needed to be shared. i remember the colours and the musical numbers and being so blown away by the cinematography that i just thought ‘yep, this is what i want to do with my life’ and here i am now, years later, working my arse of so that i can go to the film school that i want to go to the year after next. madness.
it was also special this time round because i showed it to my little sister and she loved it, just like i did.
