Fair warning, only because a portion of the reviews make it out to be some kind of bright, cheery, optimistic film -- La La Land left me in one of the most profoundly depressed states of any film I've seen this year. I decided to watch it twice tonight and I don't even know why (okay actually I do), because now I'm just despondent.
