The Wild Robot simply hits close to home. Such a poignant story of motherhood, accepting one’s differences from the rest, and learning to let go of those we care deeply for. Even in animation, Lupita Nyong’o doesn’t fail to nearly drive you to tears with a performance that is just as charming as it is sincerely vulnerable. Visuals are out of this world. Easily one of 2024’s best looking movies.
