Oh it's just wonderful. Gorgeous and magical and the best reminder of the type of movie that usually doesn't get made anymore. It's not just an empty throwback either, this is subversive and smart in all the best ways. Really appreciated the handful of allusions to PTA's work that Chazelle makes here, he's clearly a big influence. I remain in love with Stone, and Gosling is relentlessly charming.
